How do people review the service at Pacific Flight? We meet hundreds of people every year and for the most part they love flying with us – the full-time students, the people who are just starting out and getting their toe in the water (or their head in the clouds) and the people who are just going for an exciting scenic flight. But we haven’t really asked people before, just how they liked it. Here are a few of the testimonials they’ve given us recently.

_________________________________________________
Ken just gained his PPL and is now on his way to Perth.

To everyone at Pacific Flight Services
Thank you for your help, support and teaching in the last 5 months of my training here. I was took care of very well and I had great time here, you guys are so nice to me. And I will never forget every moment here in PFS.
Having a PPL is one of the milestones in my life and I’m glad I have you guys here with me to work on it.
I’ll definitely recommend PFS to people wants to fly.
Thanks
Ken

Ken also wrote notes to each of the Instructors he learnt with:

“…You always do great job…You’ve given me what I need…”
“…Thanks for pushing me hard…”
“…You are such a hard working man and vey smart..”
“…You make us as a student feel less nervous and do well in the test…”
“…I thought you were serious and strict and I finally found you are so nice with a sense of humour…”
“…You are passionate and hard working. You take care of student very well…I appreciate it very much…”

_________________________________________________

After completing my PPL at another flying school, I was keen to progress onto my commercial licence in a more professional and structured environment. I was advised by a senior Qantas captain to check out Pacific Flight Services. I was immediately impressed by the interest the instructors showed in reaching my goals, and the experience they demonstrated throughout my training. As Pacific Flight Services operates seven days a week, I was able to work my flying around my jobs and complete a design degree during the flight training. Thank you to all the instructors and staff for your skill and encouragement.

Peter Tink

_________________________________________________

My journey with Pacific flight Services began as a Full time Student in April 2010 and ended in June 2011, although the memories will last forever.

From my 1st Solo on Piper Warrior to my CPL on Cessna 172 XP, each day was a learning experience. The quality of training and guidance provided by all Instructors is of a very good standard. The same standard achieved during the course made me feel extremely confident and relaxed when I went for my CPL Flight Test.

Nigel Clark, my training instructor gave me all possible thumb rules for VFR and IFR flying and made flying so much fun for me. His voice is still in my ears “Are we on centreline”J

The training standards were never compromised and I was always motivated to do better. From a Grade 3 Instructor to the CFI, everyone is so helpful.

Thanks a lot to the whole PFS team for making this happen. I will always cherish the training timespent with PFS.

Regards,

Nidhi Narula

My mum and I went for a flight over the Harbour with Pacific Flight Services, Bankstown. Well I rock up with mum and I meet Pete and Mat, both six foot plus giants. I get it you have to be as tall as the sky to be a pilot. I meet Rod, he seems like a good bloke and we had a big belly laugh. While mum was busy, I had a bit of a look around. I found the most stupid hard caps. I said to mum,” why does your work waste money on these hard caps? Oh! (I will Explain Later!) Were ready to go, I have never been in a small aircraft before, so I am not sure what to expect…A full safety briefing of course, Pete checks the plane, and mum wants to take photos. I get mum in the back, with the camera, of course. And off we go, oh well, we taxi, hold, cross, taxi, and hold. Now were really off, we head down the runway we are travelling faster than before and we are gone. We head guess where? Up you fool! We are west but heading north. Hi Pete’s mum, (in yard at Beecroft way), hi there Hornsby. Wow the Northern Beaches are great, I live in the East. Hi there Manly beach, and big hello Sydney Harbour, hello Harbour Bridge and happy birthday to you. Hello opera house, and hi to you Luna Park. My mum’s in the back of the plane taking photos non- stop like a tourist! Ok, we’re over water, low, just off the coast, and heading for Clovelly, where I live. We can’t fly inland, but I am right on the coast. I can’t see my dog on the verandah, but I am all good. We turn now and start heading home; too bad, because, I am ready to fly away. We head home via the same path. I am now looking at the runway at Bankstown, the plane slows in the air, and then we head down. We land much quieter and smoother than a big plane, right on the centre line. We taxi, hold, taxi, and park. Oh, and the stupid hard caps?I find out later from Mum that they are for students who are learning to read the instruments inside the plane; the hard caps prevent them from seeing the sky. Just wanted to let you all know I listen to my mum. Ha ha. I have had a great morning flying the skies and I recommend to everyone, young, old or in the middle, like mum , to get out and get up, and see your beautiful city from the sky as I have! Thanks Pacific Flight, Thanks Pete, and Thanks Mum!

_________________________________________________

” Thanks Pacific Flight Services for an awesome training, the memorable moments, the great instructors and a very friendly environment.”

Kyle
